1. About Reel That In
Reel That In ("RTI", "Reel That In", "we", "us", or "our") is a tool for collecting, organizing, and working with things that people encounter on the web and on social media.
RTI is designed to help users capture things they want to remember or work with later, and organize those items as part of their own information and creative/work processes.
This Privacy Policy explains what information RTI may receive and how that information is used.
2. Information we receive
Depending on how you use RTI, we may receive information that you choose to send to RTI, including:
- Links and other content that you share with RTI.
- Information necessary to identify or organize the shared content.
- Content and information associated with social-media interactions when you explicitly connect a social-media account or use a feature that requires such access.
- Information that you provide directly when using RTI.
When RTI is connected to an Instagram account, RTI may receive information made available through Meta's Instagram APIs, such as information relating to comments or other interactions with content, depending on the permissions granted to the RTI application.
RTI does not ask for or collect your Instagram password.
3. How we use information
Information received by RTI is used to provide and improve the features of RTI, including:
- Saving and organizing information that you choose to capture.
- Displaying and processing content and interactions associated with your RTI account.
- Providing features that allow you to work with information collected from websites and social-media services.
- Maintaining, securing, debugging, and improving the RTI service.
- Responding to requests and providing support.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Information obtained from Instagram
If you connect an Instagram account to RTI, we process information obtained through Meta's APIs only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and to provide the RTI functionality you have requested.
RTI does not use Instagram information for advertising or sell Instagram information to third parties.
Information obtained from Instagram is not used for purposes unrelated to the functionality for which the Instagram connection was established.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell or rent personal information.
We may use service providers and infrastructure providers that are necessary to operate RTI. Such providers may process information on our behalf and only to the extent necessary to provide the relevant service.
We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or property of RTI, its users, or others.
6. Data retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant RTI functionality, maintain the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
You may request deletion of information associated with your use of RTI, including information obtained through a connected Instagram account.
To request deletion of your data, please contact us at admin@reelthat.in.
Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant account or data. We may need to verify the request before carrying it out.
Disconnecting an Instagram account from RTI will stop RTI from receiving new information through that connection, but it does not necessarily delete information that has already been stored. You may request deletion as described above.
7. Children's privacy
RTI is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by RTI against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
However, no Internet service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Third-party services
RTI may interact with third-party services, including Meta/Instagram, when you choose to use functionality that depends on those services.
Your use of third-party services is also subject to their own privacy policies and terms.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as RTI develops or as legal and technical requirements change.
The current version will always be made available at this URL.
11. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, the information RTI holds about you, or a request to delete your information, please contact admin@reelthat.in.
